Functions & Weddings
Whether your requirements are large or small, we are eager to accommodate you with a party that you will long remember. Each function is tailor made to suit your dietary, refreshment, entertainment and decorative requirements. Tamarind House is a versatile venue offering five different areas to suit any occasion and budget.
Restaurant Dining
For parties of 8 or less, please contact the restaurant direct from 9.00am to 9pm Monday to Saturday to make your booking.
The Restaurant has intimate tables for 2 or tables for up to 8.
Bar
The comfortable bar area is popular for small cocktail or canape functions for up to 20 people.
Bookings are usually requested from 6.00pm to enjoy the spectular sunsets. Main Restaurant Private Venue Hire for Exclusive Use, Weddings & Fucntions
The main restaurant is spread over two levels and overlooks a garden, the front deck, private beach and lagoon. All of these are included for larger parties of 40 - 100 people when the entire restaurant is reserved. An area of the restaurant is set aside for pianist, dj and dancing. Entertainment including Fire and Island Dancers is usually performed in the garden, weather permitting.
The fee for Main Resaurant venue hire is $1000 Monday - Friday and $1250.00 for Saturday is required on confirmation.

 V.I.P
The VIP area is a veranda wing in the main restaurant that seats 10 to 16 people and is a semi-enclosed area on the second level of the restaurant. It is favoured by smaller birthday and wedding parties. This area is adjacent to the evening pianist so functions which include speeches are recommended to consider a lunch function or the SummerHouse.
A deposit fee of $10.00 per head on estimated numbers is payable in advanc for the VIP wing. There is no venue hire fee for the VIP wing. We do not offer "our a la carte" for groups larger than 16, but request that you choose one of the set function menus. Summer House
 The newly constructed Summer House is a private roofed deck with a bar overlooking the private beach and lagoon. This is a popular daytime venue for Corporate Meetings of up to 30 people. Evenings bring a backdrop of the setting sun and a venue for up to 35 seated for a set menu dinner or up to 70 people for cocktails.
To reserve the Summer House from Monday - Friday, a minimum venue hire of $350.00 is required, $500.00 on Saturdays and Public Holidays. An additional $5.00 per head table set up fee is required for seated events. We do not offer our "a la carte menu" for groups larger than 16, but request that you choose one of the set function menus - see link below.
